The varsity boys tennis team battled in a first round WPIAL Tournament match at Fox Chapel before falling 3 - 2. Sophomore Jonathan Varghese won a 3 set match at #1 singles, rallying after losing the first set; junior Rohan Shah lost a tight two set match @ #2 singles; senior Cole Rychel was victorious in two sets to give the Panthers two points in singles. Fox Chapel had a strong team @ #1 doubles as senior Neev Lamba and freshman Tejas Mitra lost in two sets. The match at #2 doubles had many ad points as eventually Fox Chapel was victorious in two long sets over senior Navin Rana and sophomore Alex Quiqley.
